So, that Rose Bowl game had a lot riding on it, and it looked like the game lived up to the hype. Also, it looks like no one in college football can play defense, especially in the secondary.
There are a few things we can say for sure after the Rose
Bowl:
1.
Hutch H. is going to win something. Whether that’s 1st, 2nd
or 3rd remains to be seen, but he is locked in to one of those 3
spots.
2.
It’s still a crap shoot for the places with 3
games left. There are 8 ways for the
games to play out and virtually every one has a different slate of potential winners. That’s how we can still have 9 people alive
despite only 3 games left.
3.
The next two games won’t matter at in
determining the winner. There are only 2
people left that can still win the pool.
One of them has Alabama and the other has Georgia. Whoever wins that game will win the pool.
4.
Matt N. needs Georgia to win the
Championship. If that happens, he wins
the pool. If Alabama wins, he gets
nothing.
5. There is still the possibility for a tie for 2nd and 3rd. If it looks like we need it, I’ll go back and look through the submissions to get tie-breakers, and if there aren’t any listed, I’ll reacj out to the people involved.
OK, here are the standings:

I’ve already mentioned that the Sugar Bowl doesn’t matter
for 1st place, but it will knock some people out for 2nd

It’s kind of funny to see those 2 and 3 point games making
the difference between life and death at this point in the pool. Also, it looks like Scott and Becky are in a
duel to the death in the Sugar Bowl. Two
entrants enter, one entrant leaves (they are married, for people that don’t
know them). Fun times all around.
Good luck!!!!!
