After Rose Bowl Update

 I’m not sure how the Rose Bowl is going to be topped for excitement, but we still have one more game left, and still nothing has been decided.  It also doesn’t look like the results of the Sugar Bowl are going to decide this thing either, which is kind of a nice wrinkle.  Here is the updated matrix:

Amazingly few points up fro grabs in this game.  Then again, margins look to be a little tight as well.

If Texas Wins:

Matt Mal. Is eliminated from 3rd place contention.

Matt Mei. Is eliminated from 2nd place contention.

Moochi the Man is eliminated from 1st place contention.

If Washington Wins:

Brian K. is eliminated from 1st place contention.

Mike S. is eliminated from 2nd place contention.

So, Moochi the man is going to have a shot at the money regardless of how this game turns out, it’s going to depend on whether that chance is for 1^st or 3^rd.  The person that has literally nothing at stake in this game is Dennis R.  It turns out that whoever wins the Sugar Bowl, if that team also beats Michigan in the Championship game, he will win the pool.  If Michigan wins the Championship, he’ll get 2^nd.

Remember that there are points for this game, but they are tied to points in the next game.  So, if you lose this game and you had Washington or Texas winning it all, you can no longer get those 35 points either.
