After Texas Bowl

Well, there are 3 more Bowl games in the books today.  Two of them were technically upsets, since the teams that was picked less often won the game outright.  The non-upset was pretty lopsided though, so we wound up ahead on points as a group.

As a group, we managed to get 1.48 games correct out of 3.  The average points won was 26.18, which is pretty low.  I think we knew going in that there weren't a lot of points at stake today, so that's not a big surprise.  The average points lost today was 22.45.

Only 2 people managed to go 3/3, and it's pretty amazing that the some of the same names come up when I talk about the extremes.  The first person to go 3/3 was Hal R. #1 (34 total points - Move up from 29th to 24th).  The big winner of the day was Presley J., who was a big loser the other day.  Today he went 3/3, gaining 64 points in the process.  Unfortunately, it was only good enough to move him up from 53rd to 46th.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there were 4 people that went 0/3 today.  The worst of them was Dave M., who lost 63 points today.  That was enough to drop him only from 44th to 48th.  I am getting the impression that moving a lot in this pool is becoming very difficult.  Someone is going to have to really buck a trend if they are going to spring to the top of the board from a low position at this point.
