After the Quick Lane Bowl

I had to go into work today, so I totally whiffed on watching any football.  It looks like I didn't miss much, as both of the favorites won, and it looks like they won pretty handily.  It was such a rout today, that 32 people went 2/2 and the average amount of points gathered up by the group was 37.  The average amount of points lost today was a measly 6, so there wasn't much movement in the standings.

Here are the overall point totals:

I was looking at the net point standings, and it looks like I'm doing pretty well.  I don't want anyone to think I'm cheating, so here's my picks for the remaining games:

California
27
Baylor
2
Colorado State
17
LSU
31
Memphis
8
Mississippi State
23
Texas A&M
6
Wisconsin

Florida State
29
Clemson
7
Alabama
40
Tennessee
39

Ohio State
26
Stanford
30
Mississippi
41
Georgia
28
Arkansas
36
TCU
5
Arizona State
9
Clemson
30

We are down to 2 more days before I can calculate some odds of winning this thing, and there are 4 games tomorrow and another 4 on Wednesday.  Here are the particulars about tomorrow's games:

Arizona Bowl:
Colorado State: 35 (average points = 18.74)
Nevada: 9  (average points = 15.56)

The median pick is Colorado State for 15 points.

Armed Forces Bowl:
California: 38  (average points = 25.55)
Air Force: 6  (average points = 6.17)

The median pick is California for 25.5 points

Russell Athletic Bowl:
North Carolina: 27 (average points = 19.96)
Baylor: 17  (average points = 17.65)

The median pick is North Carolina for 10.5

Texas Bowl:
LSU: 41 (average points = 30.12)
Texas Tech: 3  (average points = 18.67)

The median pick is LSU for 32.

So, lots more games and a lot more points up for grabs.  I'm good with some upsets, if the NCAA football gods want to provide us with a couple.  That could be fun, and it would shake up the standings a little.  There's still a lot of football to be played, so we still have a long way to go.

Good luck to everyone!!!!!!
