So, there's only one game tomorrow, and it might be one of
those new bowl games, since I don't ever remember having a Miami Beach Bowl
last year. It may have happened, but I
don't remember it. That could be a sign
that I'm getting old, or it could be that there are too many bowl games for me
to keep track of. I'm guessing it's more
of the latter.
Here are the particulars:
Western Kentucky: 28
(Mean = 19.11 points)
South Florida: 16 (Mean = 16.00 points)
The total points wagered on this game is 791, making it the
31st most important game of the bowl season, which seems appropriate. I also think it's appropriate to have two
directional schools in a game like this.
It is actually the first of two games that feature two directional
schools. My own Western Michigan
University Broncos are in the other one, but we'll get to that one in due time.
The median pick in this game is Western Kentucky for 10 points. The average pick is Western Kentucky for 6.34
points. 9 people have decided that a top
10 pick was warranted in this game, but only one of those people took South
Florida (Ally H.). Given that South
Florida and Miami Beach can't be that far from one another, this may be a
genius pick. The vegas line for this
game is Western Kentucky -2.5, so it should be more or less a tossup. Let's hope it's at least a good game.
Good luck to everyone!!!
