Upset #1 for the day is in the books. Remember a short time ago, when you could always count of Michigan State to go at least one round farther than their seed? Typically, it was a good bet to pencil them in to the Final 4. It’s been a few years since we’ve had that level of success out of Michigan State, but given what we’ve seen in this region, they seem as likely as anyone to make the Final 4. I mean, the bracket is Michigan State / Kansas State / Tennessee / FAU or FDU. Almost anyone could win that. I wouldn’t rule out FAU at this point.
Also, remember how I said to look out for Michael S.’s bracket
because it was looking pretty good.
Well, he had Marquette in the Championship game. This season, that doesn’t seem to be
disqualifying, but it hurts. I mean,
only 11 people still have all 4 Final 4 teams alive. Yikes!
