Congratulations Kentucky. You did it. You did exactly what the “prevent” defense is designed to do, and that is prevent you from winning. After that last drive by Clemson, Kentucky deserves to lose that game, and if there are people in Kentucky that care about football more than they care about basketball, they should be irate at the head coach and definitely consider getting a different defensive coordinator.
This clarifies a few things in the bowl pool, as Dennis R.
racked up 40 points compliments of Kentucky’s choke job. That means he is back over 50% for 1st
place and has a roughly 6/7 chance of winning something.
It also means that we have less than half the pool still
alive for something, as there are only 34 people that have not been eliminated
