Bowl Pool DAy 1 - one game left

 It’s been a fun day of watching college football.  I guess there was some NFL games going on today as well, but I honestly don’t know who has time to watch all that football.  I struggled watching as much as I did.  But wait!!!  There’s still yet another game going on right now that will wrap up the days 7-game smorgasbord of college football.

In the mean time, I have updates.  7 people have gone 6/6 so far.  That is amazingly good.  Amazingly, only one of those people (Ally H.) is currently in the top 10 for points.  4 of them are the top 10 in net points, which makes much more sense.  My sympathies go out to Marc R. #2, who is 6/6, but only has 21 points to show for it.  That is literally the least amount of points you can get and still go 6/6.  Ouch.  You’d like to take more advantage of a good run like that.

Moochi the Man and I go back quite a ways.  More than a decade ago, I won a pick ‘em league he was running.  We’ve kept in touch over the years, but it’s been a really long time since he’s entered.  He must have been fine tuning his college football over the years.

But fear not people.  There is still one more game today.

I suppose there could be a more mediocre bowl game than this, but it’s hard to imagine who would be playing in it.  The only thing I know about this game is that it used to be called the “Poulan Weed Eater Independence Bowl”, which I always thought was kind of funny.  I’m sure I’ll watch some of this game – but mostly because I am glutton and I can take tomorrow off from the Bowl pool.
