NCAA Day 1 - 4 games in

We are 4 games deep in the NCAA tournament, and 1/2 of the games have been upsets if you go by the seeds.  Granted, both of those "upsets" were 9s over 8s, and a majority of the people in the pool saw them coming, but they are upsets noetheless.

In terms of real upsets, Yale is currently beating Baylor at half time.  That would be an interesting one.  The only interesting thing going on the Virginia game is that Tony Bennett looks like he passed out on the sidelines.  For those that aren't familiar with him, he is the head coach at Virginia.  I don't know what happened to him, but it looks like he's not going to be coaching for the rest of the game.  I hope he's OK.

Back to the pool, 108 people got both Connecticut and Iowa State correct.  Only 16 people were shutout.  We are left with only 67 perfect brackets left 4 games in.  On the other side, no one is shut out anymore.  Everyone has at least one point.  We did manage to lose 2 more elite 8 teams, as there were 2 people with Colorado in the Elite 8 (Bella S. & the infamous Jonathan O.).  We have yet to have anyone lose even a Final 4 team.

Shutout!!!!!  I guess that's no surprise.  Kansas is the overall #1 seed.  This should be a walk.

Purdue / UALR:

It's another one of those dangerous 5/12 games.  It should be interesting.  I'm hoping that Purdue wins, but I guess I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if there was an upset here.  I almost always an internal battle with myself between wanting my picks to well and wanting to see upsets.
