Two more games in the books, and it's beginning to look pretty chalky today.  If Kansas completes the win over Connecticut (and they have a huge halftime lead), the team that should have been in the Sweet 16 based on the seeds will be in the sweet 16 in 5/6 of the games played.  That's not good.  They've been good games, but the favorites have been slightly better today.

Through 5 games, we are down to 3 people with perfect brackets today.  Daisy N. #5 (up 46 places in the standings to 7th), Tomas L. #2 (Up 134 places to 18th) and Chris M. #3 (up 137 places to 56th).  Those are some pretty big swings.  On the flip side, we actually have one bracket that has gotten 0 points today so far.  Dan Du. #2 has moved down 60 places to 210th.  Amazing, since his other bracket is in the top 12 in total points.

I think a lot of people would have taken Gonzaga, if they were the 6 seed instead of the 11 seed in this tournament.  People tend to like Gonzaga, even though they have never been to the Final 4.  They are a strange case of being a major program that plays in a very minor conference.  It's impressive how they've managed to keep playing at a very high level for so long.
