Tomorrow starts the festivities, as my brother, my Dad and I drive to Phoenix to take in the Final 4.  I'm pretty excited about it.  It should be a lot of fun.  I don't know if it will top last year's Championship game, but honestly, the semi-finals were both duds.  Maybe this year will be different.  I would really like to see some good games, not 25+ point blowouts.

Anyway, I won't be near my computer until late on Saturday night, so I want to give the eliminations based on the final matchups:

If the finals are:

South Carolina vs. Oregon

Kansas C. #3 is guaranteed 1st place.

Irene H. #3 is guaranteed 2nd place.

3rd place is either Dan D. #2 or Tim's Stepson.

4th place is either Dan D. #1 or Dan D. #2.

South Carolina vs. North Carolina

Dan Dz. is guaranteed 1st place.

2nd place is either Eric V. or Kyle V.

3rd place is either Missy W. #1 or the winner of the Daisy N.#3/Larry G.#3 tiebreaker.

4th place is either Eric V. or the loser of the Daisy N.#3/Larry G.#3 tiebreaker.

Gonzaga vs. Oregon

1st place is either Kansas C. #3 or the winner of a Kansas C. #3/Jeff S./Kirt R. #1 tiebreaker.

2nd place is either Irene H. #3 or the second place finisher of a Kansas C. #3/Jeff S./Kirt R. #1 tiebreaker.

3rd place is either Dan D. #2 or the third place finisher of a Kansas C. #3/Jeff S./Kirt R. #1 tiebreaker.

4th place is either Dan D. #1 or the winner of the John E. #2/Paul R. #2 tiebreaker.

Gonzaga vs. North Carolina

1st place is either Larry G. #3 or the winner of Jeff S./Kirt R. #1 tiebreaker.

2nd place is either the loser of the Jeff S./Kirt R. tie breaker or the winner of the Dan Dz./John M. #1 tiebreaker.
